Of course, I just HAVE to get images of my pets on here! As a forewarning, just know that 99% of the images here are cats. Yes.. I'm a cat fanatic... while there is only one dog here. Don't get me wrong.. I love dogs, too... I just don't have enough pictures of the dogs I DID own, at one point. ^_^;
Anyhoo... below are pictures of the pets, or my babies, that I've had throughout the years. A few belong to my father, but I was in contact with them enough to care for them as if they were my own. Enjoy!
(The pets missing here are: Bumper (pitbull), Rocky (black lab), Rosie (chihuahua), BJ (rottweiler/lab) and Louie (cat).)
"Bonnie."
My father's current chihuahua, Bonnie!
"Winter."
Annnd.. the current cat of my father's household, Winter! Well.. since she is so recent, the name is still kinda undetermined. I'm just going by the idea of my step-sister, Brianna. Winter is a nice name for this kitty, in my opinion! I'll change the name here, if I receive more news.
"Mocha."
One of my two current cats, Mocha. He's chocolate brown in color, with beautiful green eyes. He's the photogenic one, obviously. He acts tough, but he's really a cuddler.
"Latte."
Annnnd.. here's baby Latte! My other cat... who is Mocha's 'twin' brother. He has the same beautiful colors, brown with green eyes, and he's a tad more shy when it comes to the camera. Latte is also the little sooky baby. ^_^
"Tigger."
Good ol' Tigger! This old boy was my pet from 1989 til' 1997. He was only 8 years when we lost him, which was quite a sad time. When we had to move, Tigger ended up escaping outside, at the new house... and well.. we never seen him again since then. He was found in Lingan Colliery when he was only a kitten, and grew up to be a huge, dog-shredding pitcat. Tigger went through a lot, in his days... and if he is still alive, today, then I hope he's doing alright. I will always miss him, and love him even moreso.
"Sassy Chang."
Sassy belonged to my father, back in the mid-nineties. In 1998, this little siamese/tabby cross was adopted into my dad's household. For such a small cat, he ended up being a scrapper... but, to few people, he was a very affectionate, loving cat. Sadly, his life was brief, due to a serious run-in with a dog. Due to being a tom, he was hard to keep indoors and constantly had a streak in him for fighting. In the end, Sassy had to be euthanized.. his suffering is over. I love you, Sassy-cat.
"Sally."
An absolutely beautiful girl, she was. A purebred seal point siamese, she was adopted into my father's household soon after Sassy came along. She was the epitome of sookiness, and was a true lapcat. Sally loved her affection, and remained that way until her final breath. Love you, Sally-kitten.
"Tito."
After Tigger left, I sought to adopt another cat to ease my own pain. Tito came into our household in 1997 as a crazed, hyper little kitten. Needless to say, my years with this character were enjoyable and fun. Tito had a personality all his own... he even knew how to open doors! A beautiful cat, with black fur and an endearingly prominent nose. Anyone who seen him claimed how lovely he was. Tito's story is sad, nonetheless, due to the move to BC I had to make. After three years with my boy, I had to leave him behind... the move would have been too hard on him, and I didn't want to put him through such suffering. In the end, in 1999, Tito had to be left behind in Cape Breton. He was given to one of my relatives, and when I returned for a visit in 2001... I never seen Tito. In a case exactly like Tigger's, I know not if he is alive or dead... all I can do is hope that he was alright. I miss and love you, Tito, you crazy little bugger.
"Wakey wakey."
Of course, Latte doesn't exactly enjoy being disturbed from his naps by a camera. ^_^
"If looks could kill...."
... Mocha would cause genocide.
"The photogenic one..."
As a kitten! Poor Mocha... always looks possessed. ^_^;
"Sassy and Sally."
The two siamese babies. I regret the quality of this picture...
"Lounging."
Mocha (Left) and Latte (Right) relaxing in the windows, after watching the birds outside.
"More laziness."
Same picture as above, different poses.
"The Cat Burglar."
Tito was notorious for this. I won't even ATTEMPT to recollect the time he destroyed a set of miniblinds. And well.. here he is.. caught in the act! ^_^;
"Afterwards..."
And after a day of wrecking blinds... every warmonger of windows needs a drink of water to wash it all down.
"The Pit Cat."
A collage of pictures, emphasizing Tigger's laziness. He would be outside for 90% of EACH day, throughout his lifetime.. and my god, when he returned.. he would be very, VERY dirty. You will notice this, when you see these pictures. And when he sleeps.... he SLEEPS. ^_~;
"Chow time."
Tito, enjoying a snack.
"All of this moving makes me tired."
This is a cute picture, but kinda sad. This is the last picture of Tito, taken days before I moved to BC.
"The Gimp!"
1 - 2
This.... THIS... is what happens, when you give Mocha OR Latte a roll of toilet paper. In these two images, Mocha is gleefully ripping apart a roll.. on MY bed. Evil.
"How to Wrap a Christmas Gift for that Special Someone!"
1 - 2 - 3
With Latte's assistance, I'm able to make a small gift appear about 2x bigger with packing tape! A joke, really... pity the poor soul who received THAT happy little trinket. ^_^
